OC Fair 2010 - Canidates

These are the pictures that I have selected as possibles for submitting to the fair. Let me know what you think of each. Also, if you want to have fun feel free to suggest a title for each.

The body of water in the picture is the Salton Sea in Southern California. This was on the South East end of the lake.<br><br>This was one of those pictures that make it so I should have the bumper sticker "<b>I brake for pictures.</b>". I had been in this area to visit the volcanic mud pots and found this one the way.<br>It was mid afternoon when I came across these trees. The sky was a thin overcast and the day had that heavy humid summer thunderstorm feel to it.<br>This scene struck me as iconic for the lake. To me it feels like a dead lake and this is sign on the door that says so.<br><br><i>Photoshop info:</i><br>I used the black and white filter to convert the color image. I purposely altered the contrast so that the sky would nearly blend into the water and the trees would stand out.
